About Roberta Donkor

Roberta’s zeal and passion is to advocate for the less privileged. She is committed to ending period poverty in rural communities in Ghana through the provision of affordable, durable and high-quality Reusable Sanitary Pads – Volta Pads, while striving to empower women to achieve economic autonomy. Being part of the NGO, Global Action for Women Empowerment (GLOWA) is a demonstration of her commitment to impact and transform lives in rural Ghana.

Roberta holds First-Class Honor in Governance Studies from Evangelical Presbyterian University College where she served as the Women’s Commissioner of the Student Representative Council.

Also, she served as the Women’s Commissioner of the National Service Personnel Association for the Ho Municipality. She was the winner of the Ho Tertiary Student Advocate Award for the Year 2023. Her dedication to seeing women succeed motivated her to volunteer with Stone City Radio as a Co-Host. Some of Roberta’s hobbies include writing, reading and event decoration.
