Selorm Mensah is an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Specialist with 6+ years experience in planning, monitoring and evaluation of development programs, Business and Enterprises. Selorm has extensive experience in conducting Baseline and Endline Studies, Research, Data Analysis, Impact Assessment, Business Performance Monitoring, Comprehensive Report Writing, Setting of KPI and Design of Result Frameworks. In addition, he has speciality in development of qualitative and qualitative data collection tools and data analysis using Excel & STATA, mobile data collection (Kobo Collect, Survey CTO & Zegeba Next App) and data visualization (Power BI and Excel).
After Selorm’s first degree in Business Administration from University of Professional Studies, Accra, he proceeded to study Master of Science (MSc) in Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
Selorm has worked on different projects as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Expert. Prior to joining Advisory board of Volta Pad, he served as Safeguarding and MEL Officer on FCDO (DFID) funded project- Strategic Approaches to Girls Education (STAGE) Project for 4 years. From there, he worked with School for Life (NGO) and currently working with Plan International Ghana as Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator. Selorm is founder and Lead Consultant – MEL Specialist for Center for Prim-Data Measurements & Development and Seasonal MEL Specialist for Friends of Adaklu. Apart from work experience, Selorm is also Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) and Girl Child Advocate and has conducted numerous advocacy campaigns in rural communities in Ghana.
Selorm joining Advisory board of Volta Pad will provide advise on Monitoring and Evaluation issues and lead the organization’s Research, Impact Assessment and make data available for decision making.
