Sophie Frank has long been interested in how businesses can be a source of empowerment, economic development and sustainable best practices. She had the opportunity to visit Ghana in 2015 and India in 2016. In both countries she worked with female entrepreneurs and learned about the power of social entrepreneurship first hand.

After studying social entrepreneurship at the NYU Leonard N. Stern of business, Sophie began a career focused on how to improve the environment and social challenges from the private sector. Sophie lives in San Francisco where she mentors with the San Francisco Education fund, works on her pollution protection business, and is on the people operations team at a coffee product company.
